Bonjour ! I'm Ombline, a recent graduate of the BA (Hons) Performance Design and Film Costume course at Arts University Bournemouth (AUB). I've spent my last year at university specialising in costume designs for film alongside keeping up my painting skills, particularly turning to painting on costume. 

 

I have experience in costume design working on the graduate film,  The Greenhouse Next Door; aimed at families about the importance of childhood magic. The film is full of childhood wonder, nostalgia and what it is like to see magic in ordinary things in a way all children can and only a few adults maintain.

 

I am a strong believer that the world needs more imagination and dreamers and would like to build on this through my creative work and future career. I love to learn and plunge into history, I like to reimagine places and objects when  painting and I love to bring unique aspects of history or imagination to costumes. My long-term career goal is to specialise in historical drama and fantasy film projects. I enjoy a practical approach to work and I am keen to develop hands-on skills for the TV and Film industry.
